Meet the people who serve our church family throughout the week.
Minister
Andy is blessed to have been raised in a family that knows and loves Jesus, but only really got going for the Lord in his early 20s. After university, he worked for a number of years with students in Durham, before going on to serve as a men's worker at a church in Dagenham. Having trained at Oak Hill Theological College, he went on to serve St. John's Downshire Hill, where he was ordained as a minister in the Church of England. He is married to Hannah, and has four children – Chloe, Caleb, Levi and Lois.

Marty grew up in a council estate in Lurgan, Northern Ireland, and was blessed to be born into a Christian family. But, he began to take his faith seriously as a teenager and joined a local church. There he learned the importance of christian service and the benefit of having a church family to be encouraged by in the midst of hard times, learning that we should always point each other to Jesus. Marty went to Belfast Bible College in his early 20s with the intention of becoming an RE teacher. However, following the completion of his studies he decided to explore full-time ministry. He then completed a church internship and then did a Master's in Theology at Oak Hill College. He now resides in South London and enjoys running and a "wee" history podcast.

Jules loves the outdoors. Previously an outdoor instructor and more recently a primary school teacher, she now serves CCB as our Women's Ministry Coordinator. She's keen to teach and encourage our women to help grow each other in godliness and maturity in Christ.

Alan came to London in 2013 and has been a member of CCB since 2021. He worked as an Accountant before joining CCB as a full-time Operations Manager in 2024. He enjoys learning foreign languages and geography.

The elders have the joy and responsibility, under God, for prayerfully leading CCB, setting the vision and direction, and ensuring that we remain true to the Bible in all that we do. We would love to welcome you into our church family and for you to be at home here.
Elder
Tom has been at CCB since moving down to London from his native Scotland in 2013. He is married to Louise, and they have one small daughter and one small dog. Tom is a barrister, and when he can find the time also enjoys playing football and his guitar(s). Tom became an elder in 2023 and is involved in the music team, small group ministry and preaching at CCB.
Elder
Phil has been a member of CCB since 2004. He is married to Ruth and they have three children, Sam, Robin and Phoebe. Living near Streatham Common, he works in Blackfriars and has a background in financial journalism. Phil became an elder in 2025 and is involved in small group and other ministries at CCB.
Elder
James has been a member of CCB since 2014. He's often found at a computer keyboard by day (where he works on a tech startup) and a musical keyboard by night. James joined the eldership in 2023 and helps with music and finances as well as occasionally preaching. He and his wife Naomi live in Balham, where he enjoys the open space of Wandsworth Common and the culinary delights of the local McDonalds.
Elder
Mark and Lee and their (now grown up) children, Jacob and Barnaby, have been coming to CCB since 2006. Loving the area and CCB, they derive much encouragement from the ever evolving congregation and forging a number of formative friendships, and, God willing, will be long-term residents. Mark joined the eldership team in 2015, and during the week works for a finance software firm. When not sat at his desk, he's happiest sat on a bike saddle, occasionally cycling to boot.
Elder
Our people
Deacons are considered part of the leadership and, like elders, are required to be godly in character. Their role is to free up those whose job it is to teach and preach God’s word, and to govern the church.

What we believe
As an Anglican church, we hold to the doctrine of the early Councils of the Church, the Thirty Nine Articles of Religion and The Book of Common Prayer. We seek to be contemporary in our style of corporate worship, whilst remaining conservative in theology. Our ministers are ordained Anglicans, and we belong to the Anglican Mission in England, in partnership with the worldwide GAFCON movement.
We operate through a charity, The Co-Mission Churches Trust, which we share with a number of other churches in South-west London, and we enjoy strong partnership with many other Bible-believing churches in the local area. As part of the Co-Mission network, whose Articles of Faith we subscribe to, we are working with churches across the city to seek to reach the unreached for Jesus by trying to plant and establish reformed evangelical churches in London. We are also part of the cross-denominational London Gospel Partnership.
